The United States of Europe
The EU is only about 40 years old. What did the USA look like when it was only 40 years old? It definitely wasn't a massive player in world politics. But circumstances in Europe have accelerated the process. For instance, I would be very surprised if Europe doesn't create one European army to protect the EU. Under Donald Trump the NATO agreement means nothing. Everyone in Europe knows that when Russia eats up Ukraine, it will keep going as long as Putin or some Putin-like leader exists in Russia. And Russia is so vast and it's various geographical parts differ so greatly both economically and culturally. They need a genius leader or an authoritarian leader in order to stay together. Someone who believes in the glory of Russia will pop up after Putin dies. Just watch. The Europeans have no choice. They have to create a unified force powerful enough to replace the USA.
